THE METHOD

A total immersion experience, not a traditional course

At Azur Immersion, you don’t learn French sitting at a desk. You learn it at the market whilst choosing vegetables for dinner, at the vineyard whilst listening to the winegrower tell you about his grape varieties, and around the table whilst recounting your day.

This is the principle of total immersion: every moment of the day becomes an opportunity to practise, understand and make progress. Morning lessons lay the foundations; afternoon life anchors them in reality.

Tailored to your goals

Every morning, Marie prepares a lesson tailored to your level and objectives. Listening and reading comprehension, speaking, and grammar using authentic materials: a solid education delivered by a DAEFLE-qualified teacher with around ten years’ experience.

Beginner, intermediate or advanced all levels are welcome. Before you arrive, Marie assesses your needs and designs a programme that suits who you are and what you want to achieve.

Everyday conversation, grammar, business French or simply the pleasure of practising: the programme adapts to your priorities, not the other way round.

Cultural activity

Vineyards, hilltop villages, perfume factories, oil mills, the Estérel mountains and the Calanques… Every afternoon brings a new discovery.

The evening meal is the heart of the immersion experience. Provençal cuisine, family conversations: this is where French really comes to life.

Your stay begins even before you set off

Each package includes a 2-hour preparatory video call with Marie before your arrival. An initial chat to get to know each other, assess your level, set your goals and tailor the programme to your expectations. You’ll arrive in Provence on familiar ground, ready to get started.
